• Christian Thompson will be the featured reader on July 7, 2015 in The Mad Poets Society’s “Living on Luck Poetry Series” at Barnaby’s (a beautiful converted old townhouse) beginning at 7:00 PM, 15 S. High St., West Chester, PA. He’ll be reading from “Low Growth” and his new book, “Pure Products of America” to be released in April, 2015.

  • Christian Thompson’s new book-length poem, “Pure Products of America,” is due to be published in April, 2015. It has already received praise from prominent poet, Thomas Lux, winner of the Kingsley Tufts Award for Poetry, Bourne Professor of Poetry at Georgia Tech University, former Director of The Sarah Lawrence College Graduate Writing Program, in addition to being the author of 17 books of highly acclaimed poetry.

Lux says of Thompson’s upcoming book:

“Christian Thompson has written a luminous book-length poem that reads almost like a novel but is written as an extended lyric poem. “Pure Products of America” is a brilliant evocation of our country as it was, and is.”
